TOILET REFURBISHMENT IN HULL FOR CRANSWICK FOODS
FACTORY ALTERATIONS IN GRIMSBY PROJECT OVERVIEW
As part of a scheduled facility improvement programme, food manufacturer Cranswick appointed FSC to deliver a toilet refurbishment at its Hull production facility.
The project aimed to modernise staff welfare facilities while improving hygiene standards and creating a more contemporary environment for employees.
FSC completed a full refurbishment of the washroom facilities, installing durable ceramic finishes, modern sanitaryware and upgraded lighting to create a hygienic and easy-to-maintain environment.

The Client’s Challenge
Cranswick required an upgrade to their existing staff washroom facilities to improve hygiene, durability and overall aesthetics.
The project required:
- A modern washroom environment suitable for a busy food production facility
- Durable ceramic wall and floor finishes
- Hygienic hand-washing facilities
- New cubicles, toilets and urinals
- Upgraded lighting and ventilation
The challenge was to create a clean, contemporary washroom space that supports hygiene standards within a food manufacturing environment.
Our Solution
Following the strip-out of the existing facilities, FSC delivered a complete washroom refurbishment, including:
- Ceramic wall and floor tile installation, including grey stone-effect floor tiles with ceramic skirting and white wall tiles with a navy feature band
- Sanitaryware installation, including new toilets, urinals and privacy cubicles
- Stainless steel knee-operated hand-washing trough installation, providing a hygienic solution suitable for food production environments
- Plumbing works, delivered by the FSC Mechanical Services Division
- Suspended ceiling installation with integrated lighting and air conditioning
- Electrical installations, including hand dryers and associated appliances
- Finishing works, including new doors, dispensers and signage
The result was a modern, sanitary staff toilet facility.
