CRANSWICK SALT & SMOKE BOARDROOM & KITCHENS INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

As part of a more comprehensive facility refurbishment, our client, Cranswick Foods required alterations to modernise & repurpose their gourmet bacon facility in Sherburn-in-Elmet. In order to make this happen, we made sweeping changes to the layout of their non-production environment, including a state-of-the-art boardroom and test kitchen and modern offices on the first floor for administerial staff.

WHAT WE DID

The project began with stripping out all of their existing ground-floor office facilities down to the walls. From this state, we delivered the following:

INNOVATION KITCHEN

We installed brand-new kitchen facilities, appliances and mechanical equipment. We also designed and manufactured a bespoke island with a granite slab table top. Additionally, we installed new marble-effect LVT flooring tiles and a new suspended ceiling. Finally, we finished the room off with herringbone ceramic tiles, shelving installation as well as the installation of associated decorations.

BOARDROOM

The Innovation Kitchen and Boardroom are separated by brand-new sliding doors with frosted panels for added privacy. We installed a new carpet as well as painted all walls and installed new skirting boards and architraves. Other installations the walnut lats, blinds, TV and lighting. We designed and manufactured a statement, solid walnut boardroom table. In addition to this, we supplied and installed all additional furniture.

TASTE KITCHEN, FOYER & ADDITIONAL WORKS

We repurposed previously unused space to create a tasting kitchen for office staff to sample the same culinary innovations as clients and guests. We also created a high-end environment for Cranswick to meet and greet clients and guests. All works in this environment included new flooring and suspended ceilings as well as paint walls and new skirting boards and architraves. Additionally, we created a dedicated tiled environment for a classic bacon slicer. We also manufactured bespoke picture frames for the client’s imagery as well as the supply of associated furniture.
