FACTORY ALTERATIONS IN GRIMSBY PROJECT OVERVIEW

Global industrial engineering company Thyssenkrupp partnered with FSC to upgrade staff welfare facilities at its Barnsley site through a complete toilet refurbishment project.

The aim of the project was to replace the existing restroom facilities with a more modern, hygienic and easy-to-maintain environment for employees. The washroom refurbishment formed part of a wider programme of improvements at the facility, which also included a staff canteen refurbishment.

FSC delivered a full renovation of the restroom environment, installing durable materials and modern fixtures designed for long-term commercial use.

Thyssenkrupp required updated staff restroom facilities that would improve hygiene standards while creating a more modern environment for employees.

Following the removal of the existing facilities, FSC completed a full washroom refurbishment, including:

• Altro Whiterock hygienic wall cladding installation, providing a waterproof and easy-to-clean surface
• Non-slip vinyl flooring installation, improving safety in a wet environment
• Capped and coved flooring, creating a sealed floor finish that simplifies cleaning

• Suspended ceiling installation with integrated lighting
• Installation of new toilets, cubicles and wash basins
• Complete plumbing installation carried out by the FSC Mechanical Services Division

The result was a hygienic and functional staff amenity.
