Toilet Refurbishment in Barnsley Project OVERVIEW

Thyssenkrupp, a world leader in industrial engineering and materials, collaborated with FSC to improve employee amenities by updating the staff restrooms.

This project entailed replacing the existing staff restrooms with a more contemporary setting. A canteen renovation was also part of the redevelopment programme.

Toilet Refurbishment in Barnsley

Our first objective was to remove the current amenities so that the new ones could be installed correctly. After clearing the space, the team moved on to the following stages of the project, creating the foundation for a renovated area that would better meet the demands of our client’s staff. The enhancements we made to the environment were:

WALLS, FLOORING & CEILING

We installed Altro White Rock wall cladding which creates a waterproof, hygienic and easy-to-clean environment, ideal for restrooms. We also laid a blue non-slip vinyl flooring which was capped and coved. Again, this is an ideal surface for areas like this. In addition to these improvements, we also installed a suspended ceiling with integrated lighting.

INSTALLATION PHASE

The newly renovated restroom area was completed with the installation of new toilets, toilet cubicles and wash basins to match the client’s desired aesthetics. Our internal Mechanical Services Division carried out all plumbing installations.
