CRANSWICK FOODS SHERBURN-IN-ELMET CANTEEN INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

As part of a wider facility enhancement programme, leading food manufacturer Cranswick commissioned FSC to design and deliver a modern new canteen for its workforce at its Sherburn-in-Elmet site. The project formed a key element of Cranswick’s ongoing investment in improving staff facilities, creating a welcoming space that reflects the company’s commitment to employee wellbeing and operational excellence.

CANTEEN INSTALLATION PROJECT

In collaboration with our external design partners at the Trundley Group, we developed a vibrant, modern canteen space designed to be both robust and practical, while meeting the needs of end-users and aligning with the client’s budget. Following the full strip-out of the existing canteen environment, our team successfully delivered the following improvements:

FURNITURE  SUPPLY & INSTALLATION

We sourced and installed durable canteen furniture designed to complement the room’s aesthetics.

FLOORING

The FSC Flooring Division installed non-slip oak-effect LVT tiles, which are easy to clean and ideal for a food preparation and consumption environment and help maintain safety.

BESPOKE JOINERY

The joinery team designed and constructed a custom-built housing to integrate the vending machines seamlessly into the space.

SOFT SEATING BOOTHS

We installed soft seating booths to encourage staff or visitors to sit longer and relax, providing a more comfortable alternative to hard chairs.

DECORATION

The walls were painted to complement the client’s specified aesthetic, and a bespoke printed wall mural was installed to enhance and align with the overall brand identity.

FINISHING TOUCHES

In addition to subtle decorative elements, we installed televisions in the new canteen to keep staff and visitors entertained and informed during their breaks.
