NEW ENGLAND SEAFOOD NPD KITCHEN INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

As part of wide-scale improvements to their Grimsby facility, seafood manufacturer New England Seafood required a new product development kitchen to create new culinary innovations for third-party clients.

COMMERCIAL KITCHEN DESIGN

We worked closely with the client to understand their requirements and processes to design a new commercial kitchen environment. Once the cost and the design were signed off, we delivered the following to create their new NPD kitchen:

WALLS & CEILING

We began by forming new walls and installing a suspended ceiling, the basis for the rest of the project.

FLOORING

The FSC Flooring Division installed non-slip wood-effect LVT tiles, which are easy to clean and ideal for a food preparation environment and help maintain safety.

KITCHEN INSTALLATION

We inaugurated a new made-to-measure kitchen to meet the business needs of the client. The installation included premium carcasses, marble worktops and extractor units.

AIR CONDITIONING

The addition of Air conditioning in New England Seafood’s new commercial kitchens plays a crucial role in maintaining a comfortable and safe working environment. It helps to regulate temperature, control humidity, and improve air quality.

GLASS SCREENING

The inclusion of Glass screening allows for easy access to the boardroom ensuring the prepared food is as fresh as possible for company executives and their guests.

APPLIANCE INSTALLATION

The new NPD kitchen installation was completed with the installation of the client-required appliances including all plumbing and electric ovens and hobs.
