March 2024 Projects Update

March has proved to be another busy month for the FSC team, with projects the length and breadth of the UK. Here is an update on the ongoing and completed projects.

Sunderland – We begin our roundup in the northeast, works are ongoing on two projects with well-known turkey product manufacturer Bernard Matthews where we are completing our canteen refurbishment project. Moreover, we are installing new pipework and implementing some general factory upgrades.

Grimsby – In our hometown of Grimsby. FSC is currently working on the following projects;

• N.E Lincs Municipal Offices – The FSC Flooring Division is onsite replacing their current carpet tile surface.
• Hilton Seafood – We are currently creating new plant bases, whilst the FSC Mechanical Services Division is installing a new production line.
• Young’s Seafood – Our team is installing new pipework at one of Young’s Grimsby facilities.
• New England Seafood – As part of a wider-scale factory improvement programme, we are constructing new tray and rack wash environments.

Hull –  On the north bank of the Humber, we are currently present at two food processing facilities delivering the following;

• Karro Foods – Factory-wide maintenance and improvements.
• Cranswick – A planned programme of factory upgrades.

Redruth – In Cornwall, we are converting an industrial unit into a seafood production facility including facility extension and renovation.

Wakefield – In West Yorkshire, We are currently installing new plant bases at a production facility for supermarket chain Morrisons.

Winterton – We are refurbishing the local Fire Station including new safety flooring, carpet tiles and hygienic call cladding.

Kirton – Just south of Boston, our team is fitting new flooring for 41 new-build dwellings for housing contractor Burmor.

Woodthorpe – Just south of Boston, our team is fitting new flooring for 41 new-build dwellings for housing contractor Burmor.

Hereford – In the county town of Hereford, FSC is delivering a factory conversion project for  FDL.

Rotherham – In South Yorkshire, we are implementing factory alterations for Grupo Bimbo

Manchester – Over in Lancashire, our team is implementing some planned amenity alterations.

Cleethorpes – Finally, in North East Lincolnshire’s premier seaside resort constructing a chalet. Although not something we usually do, it’s something we’ve got stuck into.
