Christmas Cards This Year

We at Food Sector construction have decided to do things a little differently this year with our Christmas cards.

Although we want to wish our friends, colleagues and customers a very, Merry Christmas we will not be sending any cards this year or in years to come. Instead of sending cards this festive period, we’ve decided to donate the money spent on designing, printing and sending cards to our partner charity, and this year it’s The Eve Appeal.

The Eve Appeal is a national charity who fund research and raise awareness into the five gynaecological cancers – womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal. The charity will use all the money raised by our fundraising efforts to help in the fight against female cancers.

Director, Sharon Brown said “This is a no brainer for us. Just imagine the impact if we all stopped writing Christmas cards and gave the equivalent money to charity instead. There would be so much more money going to charities, and we would encourage more businesses to do the same.”
