As part of a sports facility upgrade, Somercotes Academy required the replacement of its existing cricket green in North Somercotes, Lincolnshire.

The brief was to install a new artificial cricket pitch built to County Cricket level specifications, providing a high-performance surface suitable for competitive school sport while significantly reducing long-term maintenance requirements.

Removal of Existing Surface

We carefully excavated and removed the previous artificial cricket green to prepare the area for the new installation.

Artificial Cricket Pitch Installation

We installed a new, state-of-the-art woven artificial cricket surface designed to replicate the performance of a natural grass wicket.

Regulation Line Marking

Ground Reinstatement & Seeding

Following installation, we reinstated the surrounding turf and applied additional grass seed to rejuvenate adjacent areas, ensuring the pitch integrates seamlessly into the academy’s sports field.
