January 2023 Projects Update
2023 begins as 2022 ended, With a lot going on. The FSC team are working on a host of projects across the country. Here is what we are up to and where:
Construction & Maintenance
The number of projects our construction & maintenance team is involved with this month is in double figures.
Grimsby – We are currently present on three sites in our home town of Grimsby. Firstly we are carrying out some general repairs at the HQ of a well-known fish processing brand. In addition to this, we are creating a new product development kitchen at another household name in the seafood industry. Finally, we are constructing an extension to the Grimsby facility at New England Seafood as part of a multi-stage project.
Sleaford – We are currently installing new resin floors at the Sleaford production facility of food manufacturer Moy Park.
Scunthorpe – Another project close to home, we are also implementing resin works at Billington Foods.
Sherburn-in-Elmet – Over in the Selby district in North Yorkshire, we have just completed a major office refurbishment, whilst also embarking on a factory upgrade for a well-known bacon manufacturer.
Sunderland – On Wearside, we are constructing new office facilities for Bernard Matthews.
Bungay – In Suffolk, we are implementing essential factory alterations for the 2 Sisters Food Group.
Wensleydale – In the Ripon district of North Yorkshire, we are carrying out essential repairs for the dairy business Saputo at their Wensleydale Creamery.
London – Finally, in the capital, we are erecting new fencing for Fairfax Meadow at their North London facility.

Flooring
In addition to the domestic works, the FSC Flooring Division have been across the region delivering the following commercial works:
Immingham – Our team has replaced a section of flooring on the MV Ventura cargo ship for Casper Chartering at their Immingham base.
Grimsby – A little closer to home, we have replaced and installed new carpet tiles at the Bursar Primary Academy.
Boston – In the south of Lincolnshire, we have installed new vinyl flooring for HS Healthcare.
Alford – Finally, we have completed a safety flooring installation in the staffroom at Alford Garden Centre.
